busy bee

I haven't blogged in a few weeks but I've been pretty busy with Uni and I had a nice trip to Nottingham to see the family. Before I went to Notts I did a photoshoot for a brief I'm doing. I'd definitely say it was the most stressful shoot I've done, completely last minute and it had to be done that day. All the photography studios were booked over at All Saints campus and I wasn't allowed to borrow an SLR because I'm not a 'photography' student, which is ludicrous. Did they think I was going to bash it against a rock or something? Edge Hill is much better than MMU for facilities and equipment! Anyway, thankfully my friend who was also lending me her flat to do the shoot had an SLR and another friend had a massive flash.

I wanted the photos to be over exposed (think Viv Westwood Gold Label). Thanks to a wonderful photographer they came out perfect, better than expected!

A big thanks to Louise, Charlee, Laura and James for sparing a few hours and helping me out! I'll be uploading the photos soon.

Inspiration

I've been looking for inspiration for a new brief I'm doing and came across these adverts.. Although they look like something I could have made at undergrad level. I love them.
